KeyStation Edition

The Snap KeyStation Module can be used in conjunction with a single copy of Snap Professional Edition to provide additional key data entry stations on or off-site. This enables multiple users to key in survey replies without having to purchase multiple copies of the full package.

Data entry

  • Up to 100,000 respondents per survey. (100 million with DBX extension).
  • Up to 1,000,000 characters per case.
  • Spell checker.
  • Four methods of data entry for paper, CATI and CAPI, on-screen interviewing and specialist key-data entry modes.

Question logic

  • Editing includes range and logic checks, bulk changes, and calculations.
  • Automatic routing following question logic.
  • Configuration of non-response strategy.

Data validation and cleaning

  • Automatic range checking of all fields.
  • Automated verification of data entry.
  • Filtering to select cases for browsing and/or printing reports.
  • Search and replace feature for data cleaning.

  • Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4, 2000, XP or later.

Minimum hardware

  • Intel Pentium processor 166Mhz (or equivalent).
  • 64Mb of RAM.
  • 40Mb of available hard disk.

Recommended hardware

  • Pentium 4 2GHz (or equivalent).
  • 256Mb of RAM.
  • 170Mb of available hard disk space will be required for a full install
